RSMSSB LDC has two written papers. Paper I covers General Knowledge (Rajasthan-specific GK + General Science + Current Affairs). Paper II covers Hindi language skills (grammar, comprehension, and composition). Both papers are part of the merit score.
Rajasthan History & Culture and Rajasthan Geography together typically account for 35-45% of Paper I questions. Current Affairs (Rajasthan + National) adds another 15%. These three areas should be the primary preparation focus.
Yes. RSMSSB LDC has negative marking for wrong answers in the written exam. The standard deduction is 1/3 of the marks for each wrong answer. Leaving a question blank has no penalty. MedhaV GK tests simulate negative marking so you practise under real exam conditions.
Frequently tested topics include: Rajput dynasties (Sisodia, Rathor, Kachwaha, Chauhan), medieval battles (Tarain, Khanwa, Haldighati, Giri Sumel), the three Sakas of Chittorgarh, integration of princely states (1948-49), Rajasthan Divas (30 March), and the Bijolia Peasant Movement.
General Science typically contributes 10-12% of Paper I questions. Questions draw mainly from NCERT Class 10 Science — electricity (Ohm's Law), acids/bases (pH scale, common chemicals), metals (reactivity series), basic biology (photosynthesis, food chains), and human body systems.
Paper II covers: Sandhi (swar, vyanjan, visarg), Samas (all 6 types with vigrah), Muhavare and Lokoktiyaan, Ras (9 types), Alankar (shabdalankar and arthalankar), Karak (8 cases with vibhakti), Tatsam-Tadbhav word pairs, and comprehension/composition passages.
